The Pinwheels for Prevention public awareness campaign motivates individuals to take an active role in prevention in their communities.
Did you know the pinwheel is the national symbol for healthy, happy children? Every April, we join others across the nation in planting blue pinwheels to raise awareness of the role we all play in supporting families and children.
Join us! In 2017 we have held Community Pinwheel Gardens in Baton Rouge, Hammond, New Orleans, Houma, Thibodaux, Lafayette, Sulphur, Lake Charles and Alexandria. Schools, businesses, churches and community groups are invited to plant your own pinwheel gardens to show your support.
You can also show your support by ordering our t-shirt for $10.
