Through financial support from the Baton Rouge Area Foundation, KIDLINE is now being answered through the Crisis Intervention Center. Through prevention, intervention and post-intervention services, the Crisis Intervention Center strives to reduce emotional distress, raise hope, save lives and improve outcomes in communities through the utilization of crisis intervention and traumatic loss services. KIDLINE volunteers are trained in the CIC's services, with an additional course to learn how to provide support and help for families that specifically call KIDLINE.
