Did you know the pinwheel is the national symbol for healthy, happy children? Every April, we join others across the nation in planting blue pinwheels to raise awareness of the role we all
Join us! In 2017 we will hold Community Pinwheel Gardens in Baton Rouge, Hammond, New Orleans, Houma, Thibodaux, Lafayette, Sulphur, Lake Charles and Alexandria. Schools, businesses, churches and community groups are invited to plant your own pinwheel gardens to show your support.

How to put your spin on prevention:

More than 5 million pinwheels have been displayed across the nation in pinwheel gardens since April 2008.
