The parenting resources page is provided to offer parents more information about child development, communication, handling stress, age appropriate discipline and guidance, and health and safety tips in an effort to promote protective factors and support safe, stable, nurturing families.
The media have a role to play in prevention, by mentioning prevention in every child abuse story. The community must be reminded constantly that prevention is possible, and that we all have a role to play in supporting children and families.
